2000'lerin en iyi caz albümleri? Ama nasıl?

Amerikalıların bu yıl 50. yaşını kutlayan ünlü caz dergisi JazzTimes kutlamalara okurlarını dahil eden etkinlikler düzenliyor demiştik 16 Mayıs Cumartesi günü yayınladığımız ilk yayında. Karantina döneminde evinde oturmak durumunda kalan cazseverlere bir hizmet olarak başlatmıştı dergi bu liste çalışmasını. Aynı zamanda, okurları arasında bir oylamaydı bu. Dergi, 1980'lerin en iyi caz albümleri listesinin gördüğü ilgi üzerine editörler devamını getirdi ve 1980'lerin ardından 1990'lara dair kapsamlı bir liste daha yayınlandı.

İşte, tam bu noktada biz de 16 Mayıs günü demiştik ki, JazzTimes okurları buyursun seçimini yapsın, hatta biz de girdik oyladık ama biz o kazanan kısa liste yerin geniş listeye odaklanalım ve kendimize kapsamlı bir keşif alanı oluşturalım. Dergi yazarlarının belirlediği geniş listede yer alan albümlerin hepsi biz cazseverler için değerli ve bir çoğu da bilmediğimiz albümler, bu sebeple, listenin tamamını yayınlıyoruz.

2000'lerde hangi albümler yayınlanmıştı?

Her lafın başında milenyum kelimesini kullanmamızın üzerinden 20 yıl geçti. O sene doğan çocuklar yirmi yaşına geldi. O dönem yayınlanan albümler yavaş yavaş eski albümler oldu. 1990 ve 80'ler daha da geride kaldı. Derginin 2000'lerin ilk 10 yılına yönelik liste hazırlaması insanı hem şaşırtıyor hem zamanın geçme hızını gösteriyor. Merak eden 1980'ler ve 1990'lar listelerine de baksın ama........
